If you’ve looked into technical diving, you realize that tec divers always wear more than one tank. Sidemount is an increasingly popular way to configure multiple cylinders for technical diving. You can enter the world of tec diving with the Tec Sidemount Diver course and apply what you learn to other TecRec courses. Your instructor may offer to integrate this course with the Tec 40, Tec 45, or Tec 50 courses.

Explore the Depths - This course is the starting point for mixed gas diving and opens up the advantages of trimix to the diver. Divers are qualified to make multi-stop decompression dives that employ EANx and Oxygen for accelerated decompression, and any trimix with an oxygen content of 18% or more. They can dive to a maximum depth of 65 metres. You'll also understand the extra hazards and risks involved with trimix diving. You can also continue on the Tec Trimix Diver after which there is no depth limitation on your certification card.
